Jeff Thomas
Jeff Thomas developed a deep passion for travel while living in seven states and three countries (Venezuela, the United Kingdom and France). He derives tremendous satisfaction in knowing that the work he does as CEO of Ambassador Programs has a lasting effect on the thousands of students and adults who embark on People to People Ambassador journeys every year.
Jeff began his tenure with the Ambassador Group in 1995 as Chief Financial Officer and became President in 1996. As the current CEO of the company, Jeff is intimately involved in People to People’s Student Ambassador programs, Sports Ambassador programs, Student Leader programs, and Citizen Ambassador programs.
After graduating from Dartmouth College, Jeff began his career in international business consulting for Corporate Decisions, Inc. in 1989. He then moved to Contrarian Group, an investment and management company in 1993. He worked as Director of Business Development for Adia Personnel Services, one of the largest personnel companies in the world before joining the Ambassador Group in 1996.
Jeff lives in Spokane, Washington with his wife Peg Thomas, and their 6 children.
