Ryan Oelrich
Ryan M. Oelrich joined the Ambassadors Scholarship Foundation as its first ever director in 2011.
In this role, Ryan manages the day-to-day operations of the Foundation and oversees all its charitable giving and global outreach. Having worked with young people for many years, Ryan is excited about providing opportunities for youth to grow and succeed, and brings this passion to the Foundation.
Ryan has worked in the nonprofit world and in the health care industry for the last ten years, founding and directing several award-winning organizations and programs. Ryan is also an author and renowned balloon artist, holding the record for “The Longest Time Spent Living in a Balloon House” which he set in 2004. He still “plays with balloons” in his free time to the delight of his nephews and nieces, and you can occasionally see Ryan’s artwork on display in and around Washington State.
Ryan has visited eight different countries with plans of visiting a new one every year, and appreciates the perspective and knowledge that comes from seeing different parts of the world and walking in someone else’s shoes. Ryan hopes to provide similar perspective and knowledge to as many people as possible through his work with the Foundation.
