Facebook: Connecting Modern Day Pen Pals

In 6th grade, my grade school participated in a pen pal program. We were each paired up with a student in a small town in Kenya. My pen pal's name was Kevin.I jotted down a billion and one things, enclosed a picture, stuck a stamp on the envelope and wished the letter godspeed. Then the waiting for a response began. Six weeks later, I got a letter from Kevin and a photo as well. I was ecstatic.
